With the doc.... I was thinking while reading the post that the doc must be under some kind of "watch" for the prescribing of narcotics...eg: to many patients etc.. WHICH IS CRAP!!!
And what difference does it make to that family doc if he does make the recommendation for your daughter to see another doc...that shouldn't be a question...he should get off his butt and do it...I don't believe that saying "hey I don't know how to help you and want to refer you to another doc who might be able to" makes them bad docs I think it makes them better doc's for admitting that they can't help .... That is absolutely ridiculous... Stick to your guns...
The one thing I didn't agree with is that you are just as important to your daughter as she is to you...meaning that your health and well being counts just as much..because all of this going on with you does in fact affect her to... I am not saying necesarially in a bad way...but she sees your pain...Kids know when things are right and when we aren't feeling well even when we are trying to acted like everything is fine... So I would get help for both of you...
