To anyone out there who might give me some advice and direction.
This is my first visit to this site and I am not even really sure how to do this, but since I am in pain, and beginning to become concerned I am willing to try this.
I am a 46 yr old F--nevere have ahd sever headaches before. About a week and ah half ago I started having pain over my right ear--a little lower than my temple. I thought I had somehow hurt my head although I had no recollection of it. My scalp was tender to the touch and my head ached--more so a surface pain than a deep pain. The interesting thing about the pain was that it ahd a flickering feeling. Very sharp pain that would take your brath away, but lasting only a few seconds. As the week has progressed so has the pain. It has now traveled. It went to the back of my head and today is on the left side just down from my temple. Today the pain is much worse, stabbing pain--relentless. Here before I could take acouple of Motrin 2oo m and it would help-- nothing is phasing this.My saclp is so sore _ cannot brush my hair. I do not have nausea ot sensitivity to light and have been fairly functional today. Went to church and fixed a big meal for my family. The pain is always there--just dull then now and then a shapr stab. Is this a cluster headache or what. I am confused and concerned. Please advise.
You may e-mail me at JOYUP4me@aol.com. Please excuse the typo's in this--I do not feel like going back over this-- I know you must understand and thanks. Please let me hear from you
