Put the cursor at the start of what you want to copy, hold down left mouse button and drag to the end of what you want to copy... should be highlighted blue or whatever. Press CTRL + C (both keys).
Then go to wherever you are going to copy it to... press CRTL + V (both keys).
The text you copied should be displayed there.
