My name is Cliff and Im 34 years old. I have had headaches since I was a child. Unlike most people, I can not function when I have one of these headaches. Nobody seems to understand why I hold my eye and beside my nose or why I hit my head with my fist, or get very angry and start pacing the floor. The pain is like someone pushing behind my right eye constantly and it will not ease up. I have even gone as far as hopeing to die and beating my head against a wall. When I found this web site and started going through it, I was amazed at what I read. There is no doubt that I have am a clusterhead. The only pattern that does not fit is that my headaches always last longer than an hour. Sometimes all day.I have put up with these headaches for my whole life and have been to alot of doctors, but they always insist on sinus infections and then they seem to act like I making up how severe the pain is. Of course, Ive never been to the doctor during one of these headaches, and if I ever do, I may strangle them if they dont help me. (just kidding) The only relief I have found is sitting in a hot tub of water with my eyes closed. Every so often I will take a wash cloth and put it on the side of my face while in the tub. This always brings relief, but only while Im in the tub. I am going to try the oxygen thing, so if anyone had any advise, please let me know. Thanks
