Painkillers do absolutely nothing to combat the pain, for it is not that kind of pain...
With the right kind of treatment, many of us live a "normal" enough life. With the flare-ups of the demon we try to deal as they come along.
If it turns out you DO have clusters, you have my deepest sympathy, but at least you have found this Message board before hand. There's tons of information here, and lots of real support. Yours to take, as long as you give.
