Migraines can be small and localized much like clusters, generally behind one eye sort of in the temple. I haven't heard anything about either type of headache actually damaging the eye (cluster sufferers may hurt their eyes trying to push them back into their brains though!) Could be you have something totally different.....You seem to describe the pain as actually being IN your eye, which strikes me as strange. All the clusterheads (me too) seem to have the pain BEHIND one eye. At the peak of my clusters, I also get a sore throat, but that could just be from all the wailing and crying. Of course the Neurologist is who you really want to talk to. Take Care!
