Thanks for your concise posting. I have been thinking of going the Lithium route and will follow this thread closely. I am three weeks into current episode, had a weeks partial relief from steroid therapy and am now hunkering down for the duration. Will ask my neuro the following questions but am curious about others experience. Can Lithium treatment begin now or is it advisable to wait till next episode and start from the first signs of the episodes return? Good days to you.
