Hey everybody, a few months ago I read an article that my doctor wrote about CH,(he specializes in CH). A little into the article, he explained a new process that is used to CURE CH. I can't remember the exact medical terms for it but I believe it involves electrical pulses that actually kill the nerve that causes the pain. Delighted with the article, I schedualed an appointment with him to discuss other prevenatative medications. When I mentioned his article, he immediatly shot it down. Like it was a last chance thing. I asked him what it does, and he was reluctant to explain. All I could get from him was that they actually kill the nerve. The problem he see's with that is that it's a dead nerve, thus, a numb spot. But hey, he said they don't get the CH's anymore. Has anyone ever heard of this procedure before? I'd like to know more. The new medications he put me on haven't been working and I'm supposed to have a follow-up with him in a few weeks. I'll force more info out of him because this seems like something I would want to do. But why would he be so reluctant? I weigh out the situations like this: Living a pain free, back to normal life with a numb spot in my head, or painfull CH almost everyday. I'll take the numb spot. I'll let you guys know as soon as I get more info! until then, keep the O2 by your side! -TOdd
