Christina ... apart from checking the O2 mask, the only thing I can suggest is ice to the head, hot water and honey to the stomach. I usually take Cafergot, but even waiting for that to take effect at 2.00 in the morning usually sees me sitting inside the open fridge door, a bag of frozen peas against my head, sipping near boiling water with honey ... it's surreal of course, it still hurts of course, but it's some solace.
