What a great discovery! I consider myself a new club member because I was only diagnosed a few weeks ago. I've had three "attacks" three years apart, starting six years ago. Each cluster lasts for about a month. After going through several dentists, two physicians, a rheumatologist, and a neurologist, I was finally given Prednisone three years ago, which ended the attack. This time, the Prednisone didn't do the job as quickly. I've had the headaches at work, in the middle of Times Square, and at the gym. Fortunately, the worst ones occur at night. I'm 49 years old. It's so great to find this message board, I feel like unloading for pages and pages, but I won't. I do have a few questions, however, if anyone out there has had similar experiences. Between attacks, and even noe that I haven't had a headache in a few weeks, I have a "residual" pain and soreness that is quite intense. I have it pretty much 24 hours a day. Does this go away? Should I ask for more Prednisone, a different drug, or just be thankful it isn't the Big One? Once again, thanks for the opportunity to vent.
