I ran a theory by you - after first asking your permission. I clearly stated it was a hypothetical, and on at least two occasions also stated that I could not judge you, as I'm not qualified.

There wasn't any conversation directly about sleep depravation. Ave (annemarie) did suggest a coping technique, as apparently she also (or previously has) suffers from insomnia.
No-one used the word whine that I can find at any time in the log during the period you were there.
This post is an insult to Paco, Ave, Elaine and the others who were trying to help you last night, which just happens to be EXACTLY my definition of a support group. Picking up on your analogy, I'm fairly certain that AA doesn't hand a bottle of booze to the alcoholic who says "I NEED A DRINK!!!!"
And to those below in this thread who have elsewhere accused both E and I of forming an opinion without knowing all the facts, I'd point out that none of you were in chat during this period last night.
