As for your question, in case you have missed it, there is an article on the links page entitled "Treating cluster headache with cold air" (you can probably tell that I am becoming an expert on the articles and links on this site, if I carry on this way I might yet get a PHD in the subject).
It sounds a bit screwy but the article ends as follows "Room air cooled to 42 degree-F is as effective as 100% oxygen in relieving cluster headache pain...This offers patients an alternative treatment that is safe, effective,convenient and inexpensive."
I can only guess at how it might work, but presumably the cold air acts as a vaso constrictor just like oxygen, imitrex etc. I mean, let's face it, us chaps already know that very cold air can shrink certain vital parts of our anatomy. The only possible side effect I guess is bleeding frostbite.
What I want to know is how should I explain to my wife that I want to chuck out the meat and veg so that I can climb into the freezer at night?
Joking apart, it's good to hear that you have found something that works for you. If I get the chance, I will give it a go.
