Gone forever! Now we got all kinds of social ills; that's the problem with young people today...they don't know how to 'preciate nothin'!... it ain't like when I was a kid... I had to walk 15 miles, barefoot through the briars, just to get to the barn in the mornin' to milk the goats; we were too poor to have real cows...and we liked it! Not like today... they got their Sony Playstations, and their $180.00 Nikes, and satellite TV... why, for Christmas, my dad would give me a rock, or a piece of scrap wood and I was glad to get it! Yeah, we lived for God and for Country, back then. Nothin' but self servin' nowadays! We didn't have e-mail! We'd load up the wagon and ride half a day just to say howdy to the neighbors...Yup, the Good ol' days!
When it's all said and done, what do we have as a collection of clusterheads, but right now? Nothin' more; nothin' less. Just my take on the matter. Who we are now, is the sum of all our experiences from the past; good, bad, and both, most likely. Personally, I have 23 years of this madness, and comparatively speaking, alot less than some. I sure hope, wish and pray upon everyone pain free days and nights! Join OUCH!
