Bob Kipple is corect about the oxygen. I also take verapamil (calan SR), a calcium Channel blocker. Most Neurologist are familiar with clusters and can provide better treatment. You will probably Have to obtain a refferal from your DR. Also cut back on coffee If you have not done so already. caffein can be a cure if you reduce the amount of coffee (if you drinkcoffe in the morning ). Eating a well ballanced diet reduces the frequence of clusters. If the strike at night try eating something, and avoid alcohol. An empty stomache can set one off in me.
These are the treatments I use but I cannot guarantee the same will work for you. Some times an antidepressent such as elavil can help.
