Tina, it looks like your friend is suffering from a very real problem, the narcotic issue clouds the issue somewhat but we must assume that the headache part of the story is real. If you had terrible haedaches and no one believed you, how would you feel? What would you do? Cut your wrists? Who knows, If you friend is suffering from clusters she went for the easy way out, a lot of people follow the same path. If you friend has any resourses at all she should seek out competent headache treatment, easy for me to say.
