Here I go again. Dramamine (over the counter, anti-motion sickness drug) causes sleep as a side effect but doesn't let you get into the REM phase of sleep, which is usually when the attacks hit. We use Gravol here in Canada, but it's gotten Mike through quite a few nights, even at the peak of his cycle, without an attack. If an attack does break through, the Dramamine won't touch the pain, but even if it gets you one night of consecutive hours of shut-eye, it's worth a shot. A few folks here have had the same success Mike has with it.
