There's something very suspicious about this whole thing - you never having mailed Joke previously, the blank subject line, etc.
If "Joke" is sending out a virus intentionally, then everyone here that's gotten one needs to follow your lead and email his/her ISP.
If there is an innocent explanation, then Joke needs to provide it immediately. If he/she lacks the technical expertise to do so, he/she needs to hire a professional to check out the puter, fix the problem and post the explanation.
Anyone of us (the "regulars", "clique", "old timers" or whatever anyone wants to call us) would do the same.
