I liked you description of how they work. Yes they do seem to reset the headaches back to square one.

I don;t know if it's possible that too much could cause headaches. Here is opne possibility, the worst case scenario, bear in mind this is pure speculation. First off I believe this is more likely (assuming it's even possible in the first place) in someone that already has CH, although perhaps a temp form of CH could be caused by over use. Anything that presses that reset button is doing part of the bodies work. The body may get lazy, and rely on the hallucinogen to perform this function. This would make the condition work.

Also we assume that this switch only has 2 settings on and off. What is to say that it doesn't have 3, negative, neutral, and positive. Perhaps the hallucinogen is able to push the switch in only want direction. Like I said this is pure speculation.

Having typed all that, I should mention that it is unlikely that anyone could ingest hallucingoens frequently enough to cause this effect. For one thing the hallucingens themselves are ineffective if taken too frequently - that little door shuts remember.

In my own experience, I have discovered that taking too small a dose at peak cycle will provide temp relief but then the magnitude and duration of headaches increases... a lot. Others have also experienced this effect. It's almost like a miss hit, and instead of stopping the headaches in their tracks they go off on some crazy deflection, this is worse than the original form :(

I firmly believe that there can be too much of a good thing. I learned this from bitter experience. Once when I was 20 I drank a litre of vodka in 10 minutes (don;'t try this at home, or anywhere else kids). It almost killed me. Then when I was 21 I ate a piece of cannabis about the size of one of those erasers that are stuck to the end of pencils. That was also extremely unpleasant, and not in the slightest bit funny. Yes unfortunately there is too much of a good thing, and I keep this at the forefront of my mind whenever I take shrooms.
