I have been a visitor to this board for a long time. I am usually a quiet fellow, only jumping in when someone threatens to harm themselves, when I feel I can help someone, or when I'm really in a bad way. Well, the latter is the case today. I'm in the third week of a cycle, and every day gets worse. I have tried for over ten years to remain upbeat in spite of the almost constant pain, but I am now worn to a frazzle. I have tried oxygen, and am currently on verapamil, zoloft, neurontin, and topomax. Every time my neuro tries something new, or changes the dosage, there is a short-term relief, then it's back to square one. I have, to use my terminology, "hit the wall". For those of you who believe in prayer, remember me. I know all of you have been where I am now.
