Hello fellow zyban sufferers. The side effect I have suffered on zyban is minor in comparison to the symptoms you and others have suffered.
My side effect was hives which developed overnight on day 8. I have hives covering my whole body (even between toes & fingers & on my genitals and I can not begin to describe how itchy they are. Calamine lotion and traditional methods of rashes & itching do not work at all and I have an itch inside my belly button that is driving me mad. I stopped taking zyban straight away after finding other zyban takers with the same or worst symptoms. The rash & itching persisted for 3 totally sleepless days after I gave up zyban and then disappeared as quickly as it had appeared. A method of relief was recommended to me and it works. The method is:-
1/ Get a generic pain relief tablet (panadol, panadeine, disprin, asprin).
2/ Crush up the tablets and add water a drop or 2 at a time until the water and crushed tablets has a paste consistency.
3/ Cover itchy area with small ammounts of paste and no more itch.
Only 1000 more itches to go.
