I'm 47 and went from zero to chronic 3-1/2 years ago. I too had days similar to what you described. I am fortunate to have extremely supportive wife/kids/friends who will stand by me through anything. After trying many individual drugs without success, I started trying combinations of drugs with really good results.
Please spend time reading everything you can on this site and check out the links. We are all different, but you may be able to find a preventative course of action to dramatically reduce the attacks. Be sure to visit the OUCH site and consider joining.
