I just posted Todd some updates to the Hallucinogenic Treatment page, he plans to update it shortly. Ueli is currently seeking out all the previous shroom posts and categorising them.
We could also use a survey on the treatment, here are the questions I propose:
I didn't realise how hard it is to produce the right questions in a survey, but here goes...
1) Do you suffer from any of the following types of vascular headaches?
Migraine
Cluster Headache
CPH
If yes to any of the above then proceed to next question.
2a) Have you ever used LSD when your headaches were present?
2b) How many times have you done this?
Once only
On less than five occasions
On more than five occasions
2c) How effective was LSD in treating your headaches?
Made them worse
Negligible
Made a noticable difference
Made a significant difference
Wow!
2d) How long does the remission last on average?
What remission!
Unknown - still in remission
Hours
Days
Weeks
Months
Years
3) Repeat question 2) for mushrooms containing psilocybin.
4) Repeat question 2) for mescaline.
5) Repeat question 2) for other hallucinogen, but ask them to type name of substance.
6a) Have you ever used LSD when your headaches were not present?
6b) How many times have you done this?
Once only
On less than five occasions
On more than five occasions
6c) Did you skip any headache episodes?
6d) How long did the remission last on average?
What remission!
Unknown - still in remission
Hours
Days
Weeks
Months
Years
7) Repeat question 6) for mushrooms containing psilocybin.
8) Repeat question 6) for mescaline.
9) Repeat question 6) for other hallucinogen, but ask them to type name of substance.
Can anyone translate this into an actual web survey that keeps track of the answers?
Once the Hallucinogenic Treatment page is fully operational, I plan to email it's URL to the list of Docs at the Heftner institute, Goadsby, Rick at MAPS, the Hofmann foundation, and perhaps some people in the media.
DJ - if you read this then we could also really use a link from this site, or better still a button. Obviously you may want to put a disclaimer page first like Simon did.
Todd - it may be worth renaming the page reatment of Vascular Headaches with Hallucinogenic Substances
