Imitrex injections work for many people here, but most have trouble getting the doctor to prescribe an adequate quantity or getting insurance to pay.
One person here suggests crushing the Imitrex pills and swallowing the powder with a gulp of water (don't have to wait for them to disolve that way).
Breathing 100% Oxygen at 10 litres per minute thhrough a non-rebreathing mask is also very effective in aborting CH attacks.
For preventatives, the favorites seem to be verapamil and lithium.
