something different. I think he is saying it is the let-up after stress, and not stress itself that is the trigger. Most of my episodes choose my vacation to rear their ugly heads.
I had the same experience as you did, no CH during a terrible stressful period and the death of my mother. It hasn't come back as yet (it is now 18/19 months and running).
But I am shadowing heavily and I DO NOT trust the beast to stay away.
