Hi James! If you are refering to the Convention as our annual meeting! To start with O.U.C.H. does not pay for the convention out of that money that is collected from T-Shirt sales, and membership. The convention is paid for my the people coming to the convention. Thats what the $75 convention fee covers. If there is money left over it will be donated to O.U.C.H.!
The Convention is a get together of clusterheads and supporters from this site. You do not have to be a member to be there. At the convention O.U.C.H. issues will be talked about I am sure. Most all the officers will be there.
I can asure you the money O.U.C.H. has for membership and T-shirt Sales will be spent on something that will help get the word out, but what money we have now won't go to far.
I can asure you O.U.C.H. is for real, and very serious. But one has to remember this is done mostly on the web and by phone. We live in different parts of the world. Its hard and a slow progress. O.U.C.H. is only what a year, and half to two years old. It took almost a year to get the paper work done. I hope to be able to have some kind of Media coverage at the convention. People are busting their butts writing drug companys, doctors ect..
People are printing out New letters and different information sending to Doctors ect.. I am sure there is a lot more that can be done, and it will get done. I have faith in O.U.C.H. and the BOD and the members to make it happen.
The rest of your question will have to be answered my some of the officers.
