I just spoke to Lee's doctor. He wants Lee to give it a few more days before recommending any change in meds--thinks he needs the time to make sure the serzone he has stopped taking is out of his system. If the verapamil isn't working as a preventative, he's probably going to prescribe depakote next. I asked what he thought of melatonin--he was pretty receptive--said he has patients who have great success with it and others who see no effect. So, I guess I'm going to convince Lee to give it a try. I know he's really tired of taking one more new remedy I've heard about, but he's also sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Glad annemarie asked about sleeping patterns too--interesting responses. Lee has always had sleeping problems. Sleep study is next week--more to be revealed? Smiles, Joy
