I'm taking 180mg of Verapamil twice daily. The Dr. prescribed one a day. I went ahead and doubled it to twice a day. Still having problems. Does anyone know what I can safely take per day? I'm 50 years old with no blood pressure problems. I don't want to call my Doc and ask. He is a dip shit and knows nothing about CH. Everything I take, I have found through this site, then I go tell him what I want. I'm also using Imitrex pills for fast relief, but they are so expensive and my insurance only pays for 9 pills every 30 days. I ran out the other day so my wife went to the pharmacy to see if they would help out for a day or so until the refill was effective for insurance. Such nice people. The bastards charged her $22.00 for ONE 100 mg tablet. If I hadn't of needed it so bad, I would have returned it and stuck it up their ass. I also tried Imitrex injections once. My co-pay was $30.00 for two injections in a kit! According to the receipt, the actual cost was $93.00! Thats damn near 50 bucks a headache retail! Hope those assholes at Glaxo are arrested for robbery. Sorry, didn't mean to get carried away. Thanks to all.
