High anxiety increases blood pressure and anxiousness magnifies what you are feeling. As far as cluster related conselling goes, perhaps teaching relaxation techniques and helping people deal with the pain and all of the associated devastation in work, life, family, friends, finances and so on sure can't hurt. When you look at the whole picture ... it's pretty hard not to get anxious.
Charlie S has a regular post on the board that deals with concentration and imagery. I know that it helps me to concentrate on staying calm and using imagery to manage my pain when the drugs don't work.
Good Luck

I would not agree that there is a connection between emotions, anxiety and the onset of cluster syndrom. Only that my cluster pain is made worse when anxious.
