It was one year ago last August that I first posted here. I happily put in many, many hours of volunteer time for OUCH. I originated Cluster Headache Awareness Week (CHAW). I worked on the original draft of the newsletter with Ted and drummer. I believe in OUCH and what it will accomplish. I wish that we had a huge enrollment of members so that the strength in numbers could make enough noise to be heard around the world.
We have some very dedicated people here. Look at Bob P. If each one of you put in 1/2 hour of time for the cause, Bob would still be ahead of you in time donated.
Look at Bennie Sue. Man, you see this gal and her accomplishments everyday. Have you really looked at her Q, and do you realize what significance it has? If not, find out. Your future headache health depends on it.
Take a look at the committee members and you will see that just a couple of people are carrying the burden of the load, trying to do something for all of you.
Are you aware of how much time Ave donated to you? And Margaret and Terry S? Does anyone really care? What about jonny? Do you know what he spent out of his pocket on just the bumper stickers? And August-and Susan and Elaine and Margi and Jack and Kip and gosh Who have I forgotten?
I have nothing to lose by talking to you like this. I'll be gone tomorrow. Why? Long story. Partial explaination--big let down by first buddy here--thanks for not defending me. Thanks-you know who you are-for knocking the wind out of me without a warning. And thanks for not answering my recent e-mail asking for an answer.
Good-by friends. I'll miss you, but can't linger as a hypocrite.
Love,
Donna
