My medical records are my medical records. They are the property of the patient [I'm talking USA] and you are free to take, or at least copy them, when you ask. Even when the docs I saw while in the Coast Guard told me 'No', I promptly (even though I was only an enlisted man and they officers) demanded them because they were records of ME! I have my complete military med history @ home in my safe and all x-rays. My point is they are YOURS and you have a right to, at minimum, have copies. Get them, make copies and transfer them to your new doc. Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong [D.Miller, 1997].--Tom--
