....I have taught my DOC a lot about clusters...
We started out with him treatin me fer tension headaches...My wife did some research an found out I had Clusters....I went back and said "DOC I got Clusters"...He left the room, read a book an came back with Midrin.
That worked OK till it just wasn't aborting them fast enough.. an I came back (after livin on this message board a while) an said "DOC I need O2" He wrote the script....HEAVEN...miracle city...aborting CH in 5 to 12 minutes.
Then there was last year...it kept breakin thru...."Gimme Imitrex spray DOC....the needle scared the beegeebees outta me"...he did...Good Gog...I was on stage an that spray seemed to elongate the pain...What's up with that?...
(This CHMB said Verapamil would do it)...Sheeit ....I did not wanna take anything everyday....butt...I had to stop the beast...he was eatin me up.
So I go in an says "DOC...Gimme VERA" He does..."an also a side script fer Zomig"...he does.
At this point I have to confess that DOC is a GP and I have never seen a Neuro....
Butt...the 240 dose of Vera has ended my CH (90%)...the Zomig chaser ends the rest....THIS I learned from CHMB....THIS I taught a caring DOC....Communication with my Phamy an my DOC has given me PAIN MANAGEMENT.
Sure I'll go to a neuro if all else fails..(.gonna grow shrooms for that happens)...
My point is....Pain Management may lie in a simple communication relationship with the ole DOC....sure there are bad ones....Jonny and I will be happy to kill them for you.
Find what you need here...then find someone to give/perscribe it to ya....then go somewhere else if they won't communicate with ya
I amm so blessed to have my GP...Vestal Caperton...who does his homework...listens...and cares.
Good Grief DEN
