Thanks for your post about the visit Margi. It was GREAT to meet the two of you. Thank you sooooo much for your hospitality.
Roads weren't too bad on the road up north this morning. Funny thing though.... we didn't actually make it to McBride!!!
I was at Lake Louise back a loooooong time ago when I was about 10 years old. As we were driving by the exit, we decided to make a quick pit stop to see what it looks like now-adays. To say the least, it was so awesome, we decided to get a room and spend a romantic evening in the mountains!! Yippie!
So, I guess we'll get up again in the morning and try to make the rest of the trip. The weather was bad for mountain pictures today anyway... we'll try again tomorrow!
Well, time to have a nice sit down dinner and a bottle of wine (or maybe just a beer).
Margi, give Mike, Barley, and Moxie a hug for us!
