seizures....and he had a bedside manner like Joseph Mengele....was also a damned good doctor. When I finally saw him for my clusters, he produced a small sheet of paper right on top of his desk with a picture of a man with a runny an swollen eye, with all kinds of information on what kind of pain this man was experiencing. This was in 1972! I had the good fortune to have a doctor who, although was tough guy to deal with, was also the only doctor I've ever known who really understood the agony of CH. I wish he was around for some of the people on this board!
I was very relieved that I didn't have some life-threatening horror. Dr. Wright was the man who explained what everyone likes to call biofeedback to me. He would never have called it that.
I got carried away. I just wanted to say that I did find a doctor who at least was helpful and showed me how to manage my ch while they lasted. I only hope there are others as fortunate.
