I just had an appointment with a new neuro this past friday and the guy was a complete qwack! He made me feel like I was making up all my symptoms and that it was "so impossible that I have 5 to 10 headaches a day." I was absolutely furious when I left there. He suggested I take this med. called Elavil? Looked it up and it is to be taken for depression. Why do most neuros prescribe anti-depressents every time I go? I have been on a lot of pills and maybe half of them have been of this nature. Does this sound familiar to any of you?
When I was explaining the whole thing to him...how they start and how they feel and where they occur...he made me feel like I was making it all up and dismissed it when I told him about this site that I had found. This makes me want to give up on all neuros because they all seem to be on the same track.
I am open to suggestions if anyone has some.
Thanx
