Recently found this site. I always wondered how may women there were out
there with Clusters (you know(!) ONLY MEN GET THEM - NOT). After YEARS of
ER, Neurologist, TONS of meds, CT scans, etc. I finally found the Diamond
Headache Clinic in Chicago. For now they are my lifeline. My local Dr.
has wanted to try to "copy" what they did for me and I said NO WAY. I'll
drive to Chicago (4 hours for me).
Julie, I see your cluster lasted 5 long months. WOW, way way too long. How awful!
I would like to email you with some ideas I have and also to tell you about the Diamond
Clinic and what they gave me to 'break up' my cluster. I am praying VERY HARD that I will
not get them this season (usually Spring for me). I just feel it sitting in the back of my
eye waiting for me to fall asleep. I keep wondering which nite I will wake up with a stabbing
in my eye. I just cringe at the thought. Please tell me what you do to get through one.
I am elated just to have someone who understands the pain of clusters. Once again, I thank God
