During last year's episode I used Imitrex tablets. They always worked, but it would take at least 20 minutes. This episode I'm using the nasal spray and it has never failed me. I always get relief in 5-15 minutes. I am also taking 240 mg varapamil every day and things do seem to be quieting down. I've recently had a few CHes wake me, but I decided to try to sleep through them and have been successful 3 of the last 4 attacks.
