Just came from having my annual physical. Even though I'm in remission, we talked a lot about CH. I was very proud of myself for learning so much about CH the past few years. Then the doc says, "That's what I'd expect from someone with a chronic condition. There's no way a doc can know everything about all diseases. If you have diabetes, you should know more about it than you doctor. If you have CH you should know more about it than your doctor." How many of us really know more about CH than our doctor? There's no reason you shouldn't!
Point is, READ! Search the web! Find everything you can about what ails us. If you don't understand the terminology, bring it to the board and we'll do our best to decipher it (Ueli is good at that kind of stuff). Have I ever told you how much I admire Ueli? Maybe some other time.
Find me some good info for the OUCH Library. The point of the library is to gather all of the info in one place so all you have to do is read and forget the searching part.
Got a good doctor? Enter him/her in the CH Doctor page.
Medication that works well for you? Let me know so it can be added to the medications page.
Got a good idea for something that would be helpful to other sufferers. Let us know so we can develope it.
CH.com and OUCH are what you make them.
