I have tried the pills and they didn't work for me.
I've used and abused the injections and they work but I am episodic and after my episode is over my head hurt, not ached, it hurt for 2 months I never had that problem before the Imitrex injections. This tour I asked doc if there was any alternative to the injection or the pills. She suggested the nasal. It works for me. It is a little slower than the injection but it does work.
lc made a good comment about your neuro. sounds like she has a big head and no compassion. I've never been able to find a doc that would actually subscribe 02. they always said come to the hospital when you get an attack we'll put you on the jug there. You can guess how well that works. A hammer wouldn't take the pain away by the time I get to the ER.
