Susan... it really blows that you are in the pain that you are in, and all of us here feel for ya, the verap might work, it might not, I can't give you that advice right now cause my neuro just doubled my own dosage yesterday. Point is that, if you want some real help, you can't depend on anyone that hasn't had the pain. Even your doc. You gotta come here and find what experiences the rest of us have. The one thing I tell everyone that wants to know, after I explain the hypothalumus and circadian rythyms, the vascular nature vs. the structural nature, and I make sure that they are real confused and at that point they don't even give a shit they just want me to shut the fuck up, that is when I explain that unless you have ever come close to either giving birth or losing a limb w/o anesthesia than you cannot understand. That is usually when they go away. It's a shame because I think alot of these people want to care. Point being that WE gotta take of us, and we gotta depend on us, not just when it hurts, but when it don't. I can't wait for my 8 week old cycle to end so I can start kicking it's ass back. But in the meantime, I will be here for the people that are getting theor ass kicked! Take Care!
