Some words keep being repeated here and it seems to be more than a coincidence. I came across the word 'thrush' while researching candida syndrome. http://members.aol.com/docdarren/med/candida.html I have no conclusions to offer you. Another word that repeated was bronchiactisis. Diflucan is the treatment for this condition which is candida colony in the lungs. My mother called it 'lung rot' 50 years ago when she had some of her lung removed.
I always had the impression that the clusters would only hit when i was healthy, robust and had worked a little too hard in the recent past. I also rarely get sick and if i do the clusters go away for the duration of the cold or the flu.
