I'd wait until the beast is back for sure before you do the shrooms again. The reasons for this are:
1) You don't get complacent like I once did, eventually getting caught out because I thought I was cured.
2) You are using the shrooms as infrequently as possible. This should help to keep them effective for longer.
3) Sometimes you can get false awakenings when using the shrooms, it might be that you'll get another 6 months out of this ride.
Recommend you wait until you have had at least one headache every day for a week. Don't count shadows.
