looked at Back pain, Arthralgia, Gut symptoms, loss of weight, spontaneous ecchymoses, high blood pressure, cardiac disease, varicose veins, deep venous thrombosis, cold feet, white fingers, pulmonary disorders, urinary/kidney disorders, eye dryness, skin symptoms, and allergy.

It also examined laboratory test values during active cluster period and in remission, checking the following:
Blood:
ESR, serum haptoglobin, serum orosomucoid, serum IgG, serum IgM, Platelet Von Willebrand's Factor, serum CRP, differential blood count, blook LPK, blood TPK, hemoglobin, serum creantinine, serum albumine, serum creatine kinase.
Urine:
glucose, leukocytes, albumin, erythrocytes.

They concluded:
"Laboratory parameters were essentially normal and no significant differences between active cluster period and remission were observed."

and

"There was no definite evidence of any systemic inflammation in our episodic cluster patients."
