I would surmise you are the exception, not the rule. Before being in a car accident 5 1/2 years ago, I had never had more than one headache per year (if even that). Since the accident, I've had a permanent headache (there when I wake up, there when I go to sleep). For the first year after the accident, it was 8-9-10 on a scale of 10. Since being an inpatient there 4 years ago, I can at least function enough to work. Dr. Merle (Dr. Seymour Diamond's daughter) has been my physician there since that time. I see her every 4-6-8 weeks, depending upon what I'm taking, availability in my schedule, etc. Ordinarily, I "clash" with MDs - this has never been the case with Dr. Merle. Because of her efforts and patience, I'm now much better off than I was before. If I had it all to do over again, I would have just headed there instead of being passed from doc-to-doc locally.
