Boy, I totally understand where you're coming from. I've seen Mike reach that frustration point that Lee has arrived at too. It's really hard to watch when you know there are more things to try, but your sufferer is just too exhausted to try one more "snake oil" thing. HUGS, Joy - hang in there. He needs you to find your 2nd (or is that 22nd?) wind now.
Be strong and keep pushing (gently) him. So many things he can try yet.
1. Water
2. o2
3. Ice
4. Dramamine
5. Shrooms?
6. Benadryl
Personally, I wouldn't drag him to the chiropractor - I have actually seen one make Mike's h/a worse - but everyone is different.
Don't worry if Lee doesn't want to be part of the group here. It's not mandatory. It might be too much for him or too much of an admission that he has an "incurable disease". He does sound like his nerves are shot right now and he is probably trying to push it to the back of his mind. That's ok though - that's what you're here for right? :) Be his researcher and his voice here.
Best of luck to you, Joy and please feel free to email me if you need to talk.
Hugs
Margi
