Today is my birthday, and as a gift, my kids got me a half-hour massage (they should, they cause most of the stress!!! lol). Anyway, as we went to the day spa, I didn't tell either person with me that I had a lurker nagging me at the time. Never mentioned it to anyone at all. As the massage therapist was doing her thing, she first asked me if I happened to be left-handed, and then explained how she could tell. As she worked on me, she noted that I had quite a bit of tension in the muscles in the left side of my back. Then, much to my surprise, she asked, "Do you have a lot of headaches?" and "the way your back is you probably have one now" GOOD GAWD WAS I SHOCKED. She explained that, when the body is under a lot of stress, the muscles in the back will "bunch up" and how the muscles tend to pull from the lower back and also from the skull.... and she illustrated that area by touching my head, on the left side, from behind the left temple area, around the left side of my head, down toward the base of my neck. And at that very time, I was feeling the lurker in that very area.
Odd coincidence? How many people here are left-handed/sided and experience ch on that side, versus how many right-sided people with ch on the right? Can there be a connection with stress? Just a lot to think about.
Hugs to all and wishing you peace.
