My first line of defense to abort a headache is zomig or migranol. If that fails I try percacet. If that fails I try the stadol. I have found that the stadol is fast acting and will stop the headache dead in its tracks and that is taking it after the headache is already somewhere between an 8-10 on the kip scale. It also means I am not taking it frequently so I shouldn't have to worry about getting addicted to it. I find the stadol makes me feel spacey, not high or anything, just spacey. If it helps stop the pain I am all for it. Good luck!
