Today I went to the Dept of Social Services here in NY to apply for Medicaid.
Obviously I told the intake officer of my clusters. She said that her supervisor gets them and wanted a detailed description of mine. Well, she got it, I believe that she wasn't sure if I really had them. After my lengthy, in-depth description of CH I asked her to join OUCH and I left a brochure that I had printed out. Great idea Paco!! I don't know what the name of the supervisor is, but I hope she does come here and we can all find out. I have more brochures printed and I will be distributing them around the area.
This wasn't my first account of hearing, "oh yeah, I know someone who gets them". In the past couple weeks I've heard it a few times. Instead of my usual reaction of thinking, "I doubt it", I'm calling their 'bluff' and sending them here...ya never know!
