I understand your feelings of helplessness. Other than seeing that she gets medical attention, there is not much you can do. My last girlfriend used to cry and and try to comfort me during an attack. She would be so hurt when I told her to just leave me alone until it was over. I felt badly saying that but all I wanted and needed was to be alone. Made even worse by hearing her cry in another room. I wanted to comfort her. Maybe your wife is like that also. I'm sure that your loving care is a great comfort for her. Keep a cool head and be there for her when it is over.
