I have been on Effexor for about 10 weeks and decided to stop. I stopped taking it so that I can cleanse it from my system so that I can take Meridia. The Meridia says that you have to stop taking any MAO inhibitors-and Effexor is listed-for 14 days prior to starting. Should I wait longer than 14 days or will that be enough time.
What can happen if you stop taking Effexor too suddenly?
