I barely remember some sort of discussion about Verapamil. I certainly remember that there was no rudeness involved on either side of the people involved. I think(though this was QUITE a long time ago), we were debating the efficiency of time-released Verapamil v. the regular kind. I believe my opinion was that they both work, due to the fact that I've interchanged them in the past. I think this mysterious person in question disagreed with me, and believed one to be more successful than the other. I can't remember which however.
Seeing how you are new, you don't really have any basis for forming any opinion as to my character. I certainly have never hurt anyone with my words, unless of course in some sort of self-defense. Think about what I could say about you, someone who is a self-proclaimed newbie to the board, and yet is already telling someone else to perhaps take a leave of absence. I suffer from the demon just like everyone else here, and I have just as much of a right to be here. If you don't like that, then YOU can leave.
See, I've been introduced to a strange phenomenon around here lately. If you have an opinion on a topic, and communicate it with even the slighest conviction, some people will attempt to turn around what you say, and use it against you. Conviction or passion in a discussion is translated or deemed narcissism, or some sort of provocation of argument. Well that's really nothing I can do anything about.
I can genuinely say, that I have never purposely hurt or offended someone on the board, though perhaps certain messages on "controversial topics" hit too close to home with some people and they've taken offense to them. That was never my intention, but I will also not take any of those opinions back.
You accuse me of hurting people out of fear? Fear of what? And if everytime an opinion which was "offensive" to someone was withdrawn, what exactly would our First Amendment stand for? It would just be empty words.
